MJM Self Storage Move-Out Process and Policy
Move-out Notice: Provide at least thirty (30) days’ notice prior to moving out. If your account is up to date through the move-out date, this notice period may be shortened to fourteen (14) days.
Vacate: Fully vacate the unit, leaving the premises in good order and clean condition.
Locks: Remove all locks from the unit. Rented locks must be returned to the office within 24 hours of vacating. If rented locks are not returned within this time, a $20 fee plus applicable taxes will apply.
Contact Information: Update your contact information in your account to ensure any refund can be properly delivered.
Moved Out: Once the unit is empty and the lock has been removed, notify the office by email, phone, or in person.
Refunds: Refunds will be issued within thirty (30) days.
Parking Spaces:
Written or verbal notice is required both prior to and on the day of move-out to confirm vacating. All vehicles and personal belongings must be fully removed from the property by the scheduled move-out date, and the parking space must be left clean and free of debris or stains. Tenants are responsible for cleaning any oil leaks or damage. Additional charges may be applied if cleanup or repairs are necessary.
